Soleil BF (“Sunny”) is a beautifully bred Hanoverian mare who combines proven sport-horse excellence with refined type and expressive movement. At her 2025 Hanoverian inspection, Soleil BF was Top Filly and was also selected as a Gold Medal foal, which is a separate and distinct honor that is only awarded to the top foals in the country for that year.

Soleil BF is by the Olympic medal-winning dressage stallion Sanceo, whose remarkable career includes anchoring the USA to team Silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and multiple CDI victories at Grand Prix level. Sanceo is known for his balanced, uphill build, three expressive gaits, and an exceptional work ethic paired with a sweet, trainable temperament, which are qualities he reliably passes on to his progeny.

Soleil’s dam, La Dolce Vita (“Lola”), is a performance-bred Hanoverian mare from Blossomwood Farm’s elite mare band. Out of HPM Maui and sired by ES Liberty Gold, La Dolce Vita exemplifies excellent shoulder freedom, lofty, rhythmic movement, and correct conformation - traits highly valued in sport-horse breeding. Her pedigree reflects Blossomwood Farm’s focus on producing professional-quality yet amateur-friendly dressage prospects.

Together, this cross blends Sanceo’s top-tier international performance bloodlines with Lola’s correct movement and elegant type, making Soleil BF an exciting dressage prospect with the athleticism, mindset, and pedigree to shine in sport and breeding alike.

We are keeping Sunny as a future broodmare. As the only granddaughter of our foundation broodmare, HPM Maui, and first daughter of our first filly, La Dolce Vita, this one is pretty special to us for all the sentimental reasons.
