HPM FLIP SIDE
(Fuerst Romancier x EM Something Royal/Sir Donnerhall)
2010 Hanoverian Mare
HPM Flip Side (“Flow”) is a 2010 Hanoverian mare whose pedigree is richly concentrated with some of the most influential modern dressage sires in Europe. She is by Fürst Romancier, a son of Fürst Heinrich, admired for passing on elegant type, elasticity through the topline, and exceptional rideability. Fürst Romancier offspring are known for their expressive gaits, natural balance, and ability to develop into upper-level partners, making him a highly respected contributor to modern dressage breeding programs.
Flow’s dam, the imported States Premium Mare Something Royal, is by the legendary Sir Donnerhall, one of the most important dressage sires of the last two decades. Sir Donnerhall combines the brilliance and expression of Sandro Hit with the power, work ethic, and rideability of Donnerhall, producing horses with both beautiful movement and the temperament required for successful training. This dam line is known for refinement, trainability, and consistent production of quality sport horses.
Bred by Marcia Boeing of Huck’s Hill Farm in South Carolina, Flow was trained through Prix St. Georges by Eliza Sydnor Romm of Eliza Sydnor Dressage in Snow Camp, NC. Flow placed 5th in the nation at her inspection (score: 7.83) and we were fortunate to acquire her for our breeding program at the end of the 2020 show season. Flow has impeccable bloodlines and exceptional dressage show record, as well as outstanding conformation and delightful temperament.
Her first foal, a filly named “Desert Rose” (“Rosie”) by Damsey, was top filly at her inspection and is joining our mare herd as a broodmare.
In 2024, Flow was accepted by the Westfalen Verband and was admitted as a Premium Mare with that registry as well.
In Spring 2025, Flow had a filly by Willow Hill’s Legendary Gold, a son of Liberty Gold out of Fila, the full sister to the stallion Falsterbo (by Fidermark). This filly was so stunning that we immediately bred Flow back to Legendary Gold and we are eagerly awaiting our 2026 foal.
