Rotspon x HPM D’Amour

Rebound BF is our first foal by Rotspon out of our imported States Premium mare, HPM D’Amour, and he is a wonderful example of the quality this pairing was meant to produce. By Rotspon — the influential son of Rubinstein known for passing on elasticity, rhythm, and exceptional rideability — Rebound carries the kind of balanced mechanics and trainable temperament that make Rotspon offspring so successful in dressage.

From his dam, D’Amour, he inherits the powerful Hanoverian blood of Dancier (by De Niro) and the athletic strength of the Holsteiner stallion Conteur, adding suppleness through the topline, excellent hind-end mechanics, and correct conformation to the pedigree. This mare line is known for producing horses with both presence and practicality — beautiful movers with the mindset to be true partners in the work.

Rebound wraps all of this quality into an eye-catching chestnut package with plenty of chrome, outstanding movement, and an irresistibly sweet, friendly personality. He is already proving to be quite charming and, due to the fact that everyone in the family views him as the family pet, he is going to stick around for awhile!

 
 

SPS/HPM D’Amour

HPM D’Amour is an imported 2007 Hanoverian mare by Dancier out of a States Premium mare, SPS Corvette, by the Holsteiner Conteur. D’Amour was a States Premium candidate prior to being imported by a Texas breeder in 2011 and she achieved her AHS Elite status upon the birth of her first foal in the US. While most of D’Amour’s career has been spent as a broodmare, through research and her German performance test scores we have learned that her movement under saddle was excellent and she received high marks for character and rideability. Her offspring have all been extraordinarily high quality and we are excited she is part of our breeding program.

Rotspon

Elite Hanoverian Rotspon almost needs no description as the most famous and most successful son of the legendary Rubenstein. Rotspon was Reserve Champion of his licensing and won the performance test with a score of 145.67. At last count, he has sired 163 States Premium mares and has 29 licensed sons. His offspring compete at all levels of sport and he is known for passing on his excellent trot, canter, and topline among other strengths.
